Privacy notice for ILAI accounts
Last updated October 11, 2026
Draft, pending approval. This text is being reviewed before ILAI accounts open.
What this notice covers
This notice covers ILAI accounts for individuals: the app, in a browser or on iPhone, and the record inside it. The consumer health data privacy policy sets out your rights over your health information. The website privacy notice covers get.ilai.health and its forms.
What we keep
Your account details (name, email, date of birth, sex), and the health information you or your devices add: lab results and the reports they came from, medications and protocols, Apple Health readings, meals and meal photos, check-in photos, symptoms, sexual health entries, notes and messages, and the explanations ILAI writes from them.
Who processes it
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure hosts the server, its encrypted disk and the database.
- Anthropic (Claude) writes ILAI’s explanations and answers from the parts of your record a request needs. Your data is not used to train AI models.
- Apple Health, on your own iPhone, is where wearable data comes from. You choose what to share.
- Apple sends push notifications to your iPhone. You choose whether to allow them and whether they show a summary on the lock screen.
- Resend sends account email, such as sign-in codes and notices about your membership.
- Stripe processes membership payments and sales tax. When you subscribe, Stripe receives your card details and billing address; ILAI never sees or stores your full card number. ILAI keeps your plan, its status, your trial dates and Stripe’s customer reference.
What we never do
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, use it to train AI, or share it with anyone not listed here, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Your record is kept while your account is open. If your trial or membership ends without a paid plan, your record is kept for one year so you can come back and pick up where you left off. We email you 30 days before that year ends, and then your record is deleted. When you delete your account yourself, your record and photos are deleted from the live system straight away; backup copies are overwritten as they roll over.
Your copy
You can download your record as a standard health-data file (FHIR) at any time, or ask us for it.
Corrections and deletion
You can correct or remove most entries yourself. To delete your account and record, use Delete my account in the app, or email [email protected].
If something goes wrong
If your information is accessed without authorization, we will tell you without unreasonable delay and as the law requires.
Adults only
ILAI accounts are for adults 18 and over.
Changes
If this notice changes, we will update the text and the date at the top, and ask you to read and accept the new version in the app.
